RICH COOPER
Rich is a full-time professional photographer and journalist, and has been behind a camera for around 30 years. He has been commissioned for shoots all over the globe, with a 15-year pro career in publishing, editorial, design and journalism. Commercially, he provides stunning bespoke coverage of anything from a war zone to product delivery, specialising in 'available light' and 'reportage' photography. He is a coveted aviation and commercial photographer and is known throughout the world for his aviation images and reporting.
Amongst the awards Rich has won for his work, he was the 2012 Finalist in the Professional Photographer of The Year, and went on to win the coveted title of “Action & Extreme Professional Photographer of The Year” in 2014.
As the lead COAP Media POC, he is a Special Correspondent for Combat Aircraft, the world’s largest aviation magazine and undertakes UK and world-wide submissions for Air Forces Monthly, J-Wings, Pacific Wings, AERO Magazine, Alpha Check and The War Zone amongst others. His work is found in all forms of online and published books, magazines and one-off publications, and has been a member of the Royal International Air Tattoo Photographic Team for over 20 years.
STEVE COMBER
Steve has over 30 years of business and management experience. He has travelled to more than 86 countries in the active pursuit of his passion for aviation photography. With a strong focus on the global aviation scene, preservation, museums and numerous photography ventures, his experience has been instrumental in the establishment and success of The COAP Group.
Strongly supportive of COAP Media & COAP, Steve works with an established global network of professional photographers, personal contacts and colleagues to generate new & unimaginable opportunities.
Both Canon & Nikon systems are utilised by Steve for their individual strengths and both systems are pushed to the limit under extreme conditions.
Steve is an air-to-air photography specialist having flown in numerous types of cameraships (including Beech 99s, Beech Bonanzas, Shorts Skyvans, Cessna 206 & 208s, Harvards, P-51 Mustang, BAC Strikemaster, Learjets, Citation I & IIs, Super Puma, MH-60, Let 410, C-27s, C-130s, Boeing 767 & KC-135s), operated by many different air forces and private operators all over the world.
His travels on the ground and in the air have resulted in an extensive image library often used in printed & electronic format publishing such as those presented to the US & French Navy, Russian Air Force and Japanese Air Self Defence Force in addition to COAP publications.
